Kennel Captivation owners are Magnus and Helena Hörkeby. We live in Saltsjö-Boo, Nacka, that is beautifully situated near Stockholm, Sweden.

We got our first dog in 2002, the black standard poodle - Nox.

When Nox came into our lives we became interested in showing. And Magnus got into grooming. Then we got our first bitch, white standard poodle - Nova, and became interested in breeding.

When the colour red was finally accepted by FCI we decided to find one that could be the foundation of our breeding.
We just love the colour and it feels like a wonderful and exciting challenge to breed standard poodles in the colour of red that can compete in the show ring.

After a long research over the internet we found Nellie in Canada. By doing this research we have learned a lot about the colour, genetics, different breeders and, as we are living in Sweden, the hard process to import a dog to Sweden from a third country.
